Abhinav Bindra comes from an affluent Sikh Khatri family. His parents, Dr. Apjit Bindra and Babli, Hitech group of promoters are traded companies in the Rs. 300 million rupees (75 million U.S. dollars) in agriculture and with the interests of the dogfood processing, computer gambling, drugs and cattle genetics.
He studied in the Doon School, Dehradun anniversary of 5 for up to the standard left and then to St. Stephens School, Chandigarh chase for the shooting. He earned from the University of BBA.
He shot his training in Germany.He practiced for 12-14 hours a day in the shooting range to owners of the farmhouse near Chandigarh

India celebrated its first ever individual Olympic gold medal Monday, offering the shooter the recognition of a nation for Olympic glory, many species and a lifetime free pass to ride the railways.
Abhinav Bindra won the gold in 10 m Air Rifle, ending decades of Olympic misery for India, the second most populous and a perennial underachiever in the game.
New TV channels have been dizzying in their coverage, showing pictures of his medal Bindra home and raise the Indian flag on a continuous loop, interrupted only by interviews with his parents in their homes in northern l 'India.
"He did the country proud, we are proud proud and herself," mother of Babli Bindra told CNN-IBN news channel, noting that it was now probably the country's most eligible bachelor.
